1st International Workshop “Receiving and Translating Signals via the gd TCR”

Our first FOR2799 Workshop was dedicated to jointly investigate how the γδ TCR is activated, how γδ T cells respond to TCR activation, and how the γδ TCR may help to employ γδ T cells to targeting cancer and infected cells. This two-day-workshop provided a platform to showcase the FOR2799 projects, to exchange ideas and unpublished data within the European γδ T cell community, and last but not least to network. After receiving the funding for FOR2799, we were lucky enough to directly proceed to execution of our plans for an international workshop “Receiving and Translating Signals via the γδ TCR”, held in June 2019, well before the worldwide shutdown of conference activities in early 2020.
